"Well,
I come to breakfast, and that's one thing that is a very important here.
If you can't get out of that room and come to the dining room, you can't
live here. It's very important, because otherwise, you would just stay in
your room. Some people would stay in their room all the time. Well (there
are) the normal things that go on in a room; its suprising how much one
room can make in the way of work.
Then in the morning, we have activities in the activity room: there's coffee,
and fellowship and trivia and readings. We have tapes we can listen to on
heart problems and any of the ailments that we have. We also have people
come in to speak to us. Then it's back to our rooms to prepare for lunch.
And most days, in the afternoon there are rides, a ride either to the country
or Pismo Beach or Morro Bay or San Simeon … or we have been out to
the farm where Alec Travec has his horses.
And right
here in the property (the Lord has blessed us) we have been given a
wonderful activity director who just takes care of us beautifully that
way.
And back to dinner again and then to our rooms in the evening and our
day is very full. But if you don't want a full day you are not compelled
to that. It is there for you."
